Our Ministries
Food Insecurity Ministries
Warren Ministries United is committed to fighting food insecurity in Warren County by providing nutritious food to individuals and families in need. Through programs like Blessings in a Bag, we ensure that children who rely on school meals don’t go hungry over the weekend. Our partnerships with local farms and food distribution initiatives allow us to supply fresh produce and essential groceries to those struggling to afford them. In addition, we host regular food giveaways to support households facing financial hardship. By working together, we strive to make sure that no one in our community goes without the food they need to thrive.
Homeless Ministries
Warren Ministries United is dedicated to supporting individuals experiencing homelessness in Warren County through compassionate, practical solutions. In response to the growing need, we established emergency shelters, including a family shelter and a men’s shelter, and developed a volunteer training program to ensure safe and effective support.
With the help of grants and community partnerships, we provide warm shelter during extreme weather, distribute essential supplies, and work toward long-term housing solutions. Our newest initiative, the Lending Hope Initiative, aims to offer interest-free loans to help individuals secure stable housing. By coming together, we are making a difference—one person, one family, and one home at a time.
Community Prayer and Worship
At the heart of Warren Ministries United is a commitment to uniting churches and individuals through prayer and worship. We believe that coming together in faith strengthens our community and inspires action. Our coalition hosts annual events such as community Lenten devotions, Thanksgiving services, and prayer vigils for peace, reconciliation, and those in need. These gatherings bring together people from different denominations and backgrounds, creating a space for shared faith, reflection, and support. Through worship and prayer, we seek to foster unity, hope, and a deeper connection with God and one another.
